Mabel Talbot Park
Mabel Talbot park is a green wetland area is in Jolimont. It has a lake and lots of trees and birds. I have to stay on my lead here as I am not allowed to upset the swans and ducks. My Mum tells me the signs at the park relate the history of the Nyungah people. I try not to disturb the new seedlings that the City of Subiaco Parks and Gardens staff are planting.
JH Abraham Reserve
” Sunday@Subi” Summer Concerts are great fun on summer afternoons. These dogs were at the JH Abraham Reserve in Crawley. As people are enjoying picnics I have to stay on my lead. Why?
If I were to escape I would
- race across the park,
- jump over picnic baskets,
- tear through the plates grabbing bits of chicken,
- do a “run and grab” sausage streak
- then lick up some tasty pate.
Instead I sit quietly listening to music.
Subiaco Theatre Gardens
I like visiting this park on hot summers days as there are shady corners to rest in and little cooling waterways. I was a bit scared the first time I saw the two big colourful mosaic geckos but Mum told me they were only pretend ones.
This next monster lives at nearby Earthwise Gardens. He looks very fierce and dangerous! I hope I never meet him in teh dark at the park.Walking around Subiaco is exciting for me. There are always surprises.
