KoKo The Subiaco Dog Probation Officer

This is a job I have taken on recently. I visit local dogs in my suburb of Subiaco who are in jail. Some are in low security jails with picket fences. I can see their faces and bits of their legs.I think it is they are in jail because they have been naughty. Maybe they have been barking too much or digging up their parents garden?

I also stop at houses where I can hear snuffling and sighing but only see a little bit of black or pink nose under the solid fence gate. These are the high security jails. I do not think it is fair that these dogs cannot even see the world go by. I have decided to join Amnesty Canine International to see if I can help release them.

These are a few of the prison dogs I visit:

I have even seen some kids behind bars in the park! They even wear pink jail uniforms.

I wonder what naughty things they have done?

KoKo’s Tip for Today

It is worth being a good dog – You might get a treat as a reward.

Whether of the crunchy type or the best quality BBQ sausage I always enjoy treats. I stun my mum with how quickly I can “sit” or “come” when she has a treat in her hand compared to the hesitation I display when I see her hand is empty.

I’m a puppicino drinking talkative dog blogger who is writing a book. “KoKo’s Tales - a Dog’s Life in Subiaco”

Please add to the fun by leaving a comment, Thanks, KoKo
