Well time flies – Monday saw me at Greg the Vets in Subiaco having my ten year check yup. YES! I am now older than my human Mum.
I was very well behaved while Greg checked my teeth (95% great), my heart (still beating like a two year old’s), my lungs (sadly for my Mum not deteriorating in anyway, so I can still yell at her VERY LOUDLY), and of course I tolerated that little unmentionable test.
Bambi Rose (Greg’s cat) kept an eye on me in the Waiting Room
As a reward for my good behaviour my Mum Helen took me to Cliff Sadlier Park for a big run around.
There were old friends and new mates to play with at the park.
I played ball chase with Jack and Honey whom I had not seen for a long time. Us cream and apricot dogs don’t grow grey with age but instead, as you can see, change colour.
I discovered that Jensen and Albi still like to have fun. The most sprightly and cheeky puppy I met today was aptly named Minnie. Her golden fur glowed in the evening sun. She was with her auntie Maggie.
My love interests were spiked when I laid eyes on the gorgeous Marnie – she looked deeply at me with her King Charles Spaniel eyes and I melted into the green summer grass. She looked so… sweet! Coco and Lulu also seemed happy meandering around leaving Weemails for their mates.
As we walked around the park we met a trickster black dog who jumped back and forth through the hoop, and George with his colourful collar.
The play fighting twosome Elvis and Indy kept us laughing at their antics and jumping away when they came too close.
The last photo shows Blondie trying to win a competition for the longest doggie tongue!
Please tell your doggie mates that they have won a place on my dog blog. I would not want them to miss their chance at celebrity status!! KoKo
