Mr KoKo Muddy Feet

Last Sunday I was so energised after my lovely bowl of milk at Pet lovers Cafe in Maylands, that when Mum let me loose at Bayswater Park, I took off like a rocket – Straight into the water! When I gazed around there was black stinky mud in font of me and behind. No way out. Boy was I in trouble.

I knew Mum would not let me in her car and would threaten to make me walk all the way home to Subiaco. What should I do I wondered?

Maybe she will relent if I agree to having a shower? OK I thought, I will be a GOOD dog and submit to a wetting. Moments later, after we had found a tap, you probably heard me yelling all the way from the cafe .”Mum this water is freezing! Please don’t hold me so tight”

“I hope you brought a towel to warm me up. Or maybe we could head back to the cafe for a warm Puppicino?”

Another adventure in the life of KoKo “so cute” Potter.

Great Idea – Emergency Card saying “My dog is home alone”

A friend alerted me to this clever card for dog parents to carry with them.

If you have an accident the emergency people will know to send someone to look after me.

It says “My dog is home alone and needs care. In

case of emergency – please contact “………………………”

Print it out for free from http://www.chancesspot.org/pdfs/alertkit/alertcard.pdf

My human Mum’s birthday

KoKo Harry Potter Dog of the Month IDPet Australia

KoKo Harry Potter Dog of the Month IDPet Australia

A few years ago ID Pet Australia gave me a present of a lovely red collar with my phone number on it.

Now it is getting old and too stretchy. Not that I mind but my mum does. When I  “jam my front feet into the pavement to make it obvious to her that I don’t want to go home yet trick”, the collar slips off and she is left dogless!

Whoops I strayed a bit there. What I was going to say is that my Mum is having a special birthday with a “0” on the end of it so I think I will buy myself a bright new collar. She will feel proud of me (unless I sneak around the tables during her party and pinch too much food!)

I have put in my order to IDPET so I hope it gets here in time. I will add a photo soon.

Our ‘Woof about’ Star Profile for December is – KoKo Harry Potter
Congratulations KoKo on being our “Woof about Pet of the Month” for December.

Koko Harry Potter is a well known ‘celebrity dog’ from Subiaco WA. A Maltese ShihTzu of 9 years, he has a fondness for his toys, Ducky, Snoopy, and Teddy!
Koko – AKA Mr K, Kokky and KoKoPops, likes long runs on the beach, playing at the water’s edge and doing tricks for human kids at the park.
His personality is very intelligent and clever. However, he is also cheeky, adventurous and a bit naughty!

Koko loves a good Puppicino and in his spare time writes his very own blog.
A great companion to owner Helen who, unbelievably, was once dog phobic.
KoKo’s bark of advice to fellow pooches is; “Make your owner get out of bed and walk you in the mornings, demand another walk when they get home and double the requests on the weekend. It’s your job to keep your human healthy!”
